What is hydrophore sound insulation?
A hydrophore (booster pump) is the automatic pump system that maintains water pressure in a building. It usually sits in the basement and cycles on and off all day. When the motor runs it produces 60-80 dBA airborne noise and — more importantly — structure-borne vibration that travels through pipes, slabs and walls into every flat in the building.
